Arthouse Industries is based in the beautiful coastal town of Port Macquarie on Biripi land.

Established in 2013 as a way to connect community to creativity by Skye Petho, a local artist with a passion for teaching, it has had a few homes and many different iterations including a gallery, retail space and accomodation. The core business has always been about connecting people to the world of creativity in a fun and affordable way.

In July 2023 Skye took a break from the business to rest and recharge closing her popular shop in the Murray Street Precinct. In July 2025 she reopened the business in a new location with a focus on workshops that are fun, fast, affordable and sustainable.

In 2024 while taking a break from usual business Skye spent a year focusing deeply on her own creative practice and launched a website dedicated to her own art skyerachellepetho.com.au

Here you can see her artwork exploring nature and the impact humanity has on our natural world.

Over the past 30 years Skye has taught for TAFE, Not for profit organisations, large corporations and private businesses and after all this she still values the learning and connection she sees while teaching small group creative activities more than any other teaching she has done.

For 2025 and beyond Arthouse will focus on small group, inclusive, sustainable and caring creative workshops that value all the skills she had learnt over the last 40 years as an artist.
