Fancy Botanical Printmaking

In this fun workshop we explore printmaking using a Gelli Plate to take impressions of botanical matter that is then transferred onto paper to create artworks.

If you are a lover of nature and enjoy the experience of playing at art then you will love this workshop.

Over a 3 hour period you will make many prints that can be used in your final artwork.

Everyone will take home a print ready to hang that has been collaged onto a canvas.

In the class you will explore-

• How to use a Gelli plate to capture impressions

• Using colours and layers to create prints

• Materials and uses

• Composition

• Transferring prints onto paper

• Collage techniques

This class is a really fun exploration of creativity that showcases nature in a new way.

Feel free to bring along some of your own botanical pieces to print…pressed flowers are awesome!

This class includes all materials and tuition.

Material packs will be available on the day for purchase if you wish to keep creating at home after the workshop.

Location of this workshop will be in Port Macquarie and the address will be sent to you via an email the week before the class.

Class duration is up to 3 hours
